My name is Mirela Dobrescu, but friends just call me Max so you should feel free to do so as well!
For the past 10 years, I have been capturing the most important moments in my client’s life, and every one of them was very important to me. Big or small, every event is unique and I do my best to show you the beauty of it.
At the end of the day, my goal is to capture the emotion behind the event, so when you look back on your photos 5, 10, 50 years down the road you can remember exactly how you felt at that moment. It’s not how perfectly posed and edited the photo is, it is about how makes you feel!
In order to do so, I am taking my time to get to know the couples before working alongside them. I believe it’s important that I fully understand your vision, and it helps me anticipate more personal moments to capture your real story. I like to keep the experience natural so everyone can be themselves so that is expressed in the picture. But don’t worry! I will also give you directions where it is needed so you’re not left not knowing what to do or feeling awkward.
My ideal clients are open to suggestions, endeavor to have a laid back love filled wedding, and they want their photos to capture the truth of their day the story. The laughter, the tears, the love.
For me, the story of the wedding day doesn’t start with bride’s entering the church, but begins in the morning with the make-up and the hair-styling, with the groom’s best man helping with the tie and cuff-links, often ending with the first dance or cake cutting.
Photography is my life. I am very passionate about my work and you will see that when u see me in action. I never hold back, you’ll find me in the dirt or on the top of a table or in God knows what positions but don’t worry I know what I am doing!
I am a storyteller, and I find it incredible how one image can tell an entire story, a story of love, life, and happiness.
Photography can be defined by so many words… memory, knowledge, research, science, painting with light, creation, talent, art, technique, moment, equipment, lens, and … the list can go on forever.
Passion, Respect, and Imagination are the essence of good photography, the camera is just an accessory…If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I would love to hear from you!
